Josiah's Family Picnic Day

A difficult day for me and John - we can't explain here. Our smiles are forced for Josiah's sake. He was sooooo excited about making lunch for us and having mama and papa with him at "his school". One look at our little Asian angel and we know we are blessed beyond measure!!! God's Mercies are new everyday!!!

Fall Parties at Anderson

Visiting Ms. Thigpen and Ms. Snyder's classes for their fall parties. To keep my "good mommy" award in good standing, cause let's face it - one day the question WILL be asked, "Mom, why did you take more pictures of Alexander than me?" Zech is not always cooperative when it comes to picture taking AND if I'm totally honest, the batteries could have run out and I forgot to pack more - Sorry Zech:(

Ms. Thigpen reading to her class.

Lots of sugar, hence the huge smile:)

And lots of cool crafts:)

Hard to smile with your mouth full Zech!!!

Fall Festival

A few quick photos of the Fall Festival. I am the room mom for Zech's class this year. Our booth was the "funnest" of all - the "Mystery Touch" booth. We had some icky, gooky, slimy stuff . Eyeballs, teeth, bones, worms, ears. Oh the drama we witnessed!!! Wet wipes were provided:)

Just so my "good mom" award remains in good standing:) my boys have chosen to be Spiderman or Hulk for the past three years. Although I have all these wonderful creative ideas each year - nope, Spidey and Hulk win. I shouldn't complain as this is a great savings for us right? Hand me downs!! However, Spidey is now busting at the seams like Hulk, so don't know if these will last another year. Maybe I'll have the chance to show my creativity next year.

The Hulk with his princess:)

Little spidey getting tired.

Baaaaad spidey always mischevious:)
