Straight From The Heart:)

The boys are going to summer camp for two weeks. When John picked them up today, the camp director told him how impressed she was with the card Alexander made for me - Yes Me!!! His Mommy:) He was not prompted to create a card for me, it just came straight from the heart. He is a little reluctant that I am sharing it on the blog, but my heart is filled with so much JOY that he would make this for me. It's a pop up card...

It says inside: You are the best. Never leve (leave) me or my life will be very, very, very sad.

Side Note: Alexander glanced the post and quickly corrected me that the card had three (3) very (s) and not just two (2) as originally posted, so I had to edit to include and extra "very". :):):) Gotta love it!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi! I happened upon your site from onceuponablogs site ... hope you dont mind! I read that you have went through infertility and miscarriages before adopting. My husband and I have had four miscarriages and found out that I have high natural killer cells that kill the baby and we have to do IVIG treatments before and during pregnancy to keep it ... we are in the process of getting healthy right now before trying again but my question to you is when did you and your husband realize it was time to move on to adoption ... my husband and I have wrestled with that a lot and its hard trying to figure out ... so far we are just praying for God's will and for Him to show and give us peace about what he wants us to do! I would love to hear from you if you ever have time! April :0)

I saw your comment on Karin's updates and had to find your blog. I was on the AWAA group when you got your referral and then brought a and z home. Now, I see you have another blessing! How awesome!!!! Glad to see pictures of your precious family!

Hi Pamela,

I saw your comment today on the P31 blog by Renee Swopes about being a Gold Mining mom. It really hit home for me too since my family sounds SO MUCH like yours! My husband and I also suffered 3 miscarriages and 2 failed IUI treatments before deciding to pursue adoption. We have a son Luke from China (SN born with one eye) who will be 7 in April. Our Josiah will be 4 soon and is from Guatemala, and we have a 5 year old daughter, Maria, from Ecuador that has been with us 4 months. Like you, I struggle some days to see my children for the incredible blessings that they are, when I'm up to my eyebrows in WHYS and WHINING and REFEREEING!

I would love to connect with you since we have so much in common!
